Here lies the city I was born in. Caught in the eye of the storm. Broken by high tide and saltwater. This is where my father used to call home.

Built on the folklore and the fiction that propped us up and held us down. We're taught that we can walk on the water but she drove us up to find the high ground.

My golden/broken city you're a vision. Your empty homes are more then they appear. People often talk about religion like religious men have only God to fear.

When they talk of salvation, when they search for signs in the sky, we send them down to our wasteland because we know what they're going to find.
